KIDS TO MEET FAVORITE TELEVISION CHARACTERS CURIOUS GEORGE, GARFIELD AND ODIE AND CLIFFORD DURING WESTFIELD'S WFAMILY SUMMER NIGHTS

Connecticut families are invited to Westfield shopping center’s WFamily Summer Nights to meet their favorite TV characters all summer long. In addition, kids will enjoy a variety of crafts while parents will receive special offers and meal deals from participating stores and restaurants. Pick one date (or all three) each month to enjoy a fun evening out with the whole family!

The WFamily Summer Nights program features national children’s characters on three dates each month. Each character will appear at every one of Westfield’s Connecticut shopping centers giving busy families a choice of dates to join the fun.

Paul Sabina, District Marketing Director for Westfield’s Connecticut Malls said, “We know families are extremely busy during the summer so we wanted to provide area residents with convenient options for entertainment at each of our malls. Now families throughout Connecticut can enjoy a fun night out that fits their schedules at any one, or all three Westfield Connecticut locations.”

The WFamily Summer Nights line-up includes:

· July 21 – 23: Meet Clifford The big Red Dog!

Clifford was the runt of a litter of puppies and was chosen by a city child named Emily Elizabeth as her birthday present. No one expected him to grow, but Emily’s love for her tiny red puppy changed him dramatically. Before long, he was over 25 feet tall! Come meet the world’s most lovable big red dog!

· August 18 – 20: Meet Curious George!

Come meet everyone’s favorite monkey, Curious George, one of the most popular and enduring children’s characters of all time. George, who is adopted by “the man with the yellow hat” to live with him in a big city, captures the hearts of all kids with his inquisitive nature!
