'Local Heroes Night:' Meet, Thank First-Responders, Learn About Their Jobs Friday At STW Community Center
The first hour of the event, from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m., is sensory-friendly. It's open to the public beginning at 6 p.m.
NORTH BRANFORD, CT — Friday, residents have the opportunity to thank first responders for their service and learn more about their jobs.
Described as "heroes who take care of us everyday," Local Heroes Night at the STW Community Center is a chance to meet first responders, learn about their jobs, and explore their vehicles and equipment.
The event begins with a sensory-friendly hour from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. Blue, green, and yellow envelopes are available.
