Make-A-Wish Kid Antonio From Northford Had His Wish Granted
Diagnosed with cancer as a high school sophomore, Antonio wished for a basement makeover. A team including Raymour & Flanigan stepped up.
NORTHFORD, CT — Northford resident and high school hockey player Antonio was diagnosed with cancer his sophomore year of high school.
He's described as an ‘old soul’ who enjoys rock music and, when he is not working at a local restaurant, loves to spend time with his family and friends.
The 17-year-old had a wish, one that came true this week.

Tuesday, Make-A-Wish Connecticut, Make-A-Wish Central New York, and representatives from Raymour & Flanigan granted that wish: a basement makeover.
Sadly, Antonio’s mother passed away suddenly from cancer during the wish process.
