NBFD by the Numbers: October

The North Branford Fire Department's fire marshal released these statistics for the months of June and July. The NBFD responded to 197 calls in October 2012 with a running 2012 total of 1,598 calls. Calls over the past month included:

• 4 Fires                                       
• 130 Emergency Medical Calls
• 9 Motor Vehicle Accidents         
• 16 Hazardous Conditions               
• 22  Public Service Calls
• 16 False Alarms                       
• 12 Mutual Aid Calls                      

These numbers are totals for all of the companies of the North Branford Fire Department, which includes Company 1, Company 2, Company 3 and Company 4.
