New Chiropractic Business Opens in North Branford

Dr. Mark F. O’Loughlin, a resident of North Branford, is excited to announce the opening of North Branford Family Chiropractic & Wellness Center, located in the Brookside Plaza at 2429 Foxon Road in North Branford, Connecticut. Dr. O’Loughlin is a 2010 graduate of University of Bridgeport’s College of Chiropractic and brings to his practice over 4 years of experience as a Chiropractic Associate working alongside Dr. Luigi DiRubba in Chesire, Connecticut.

Dr. O’Loughlin specializes in family chiropractic and wellness care and state-of-the-art examination and chiropractic adjusting procedures. Trained in the Gonstead technique, Dr. O’Loughlin utilizes the ultimate standards in hands-on spinal adjusting.

Patients at North Branford Family Chiropractic & Wellness Center receive a complete chiropractic examination, consisting of a thorough health history, orthopedic and neurological testing, postural analysis, and range of motion and bio-mechanical assessment. With the utilization of a surface sEMG Myovision scanner, Dr. O’Loughlin is able to identify patterns of muscle instability that are indicators of subluxations in the spine. Dr. O’Loughlin also offers patients wellness prevention including nutritional consultations, weight loss programs, stress management, and lifestyle education.

Dr. O’Loughlin is an active member of his community, including the non-profit organization The Foundation for Wellness Professionals – a nonprofit organization made up of more than 1000 participants across the country that specializes in natural solutions to stress-related illnesses. As an organization member, Dr. O’Loughlin visits community businesses, companies, organizations and schools in order to provide free educational workshops, lectures, and screenings about natural solutions to stress-related illnesses and work-related injury prevention. He also helps these organizations design a wellness prevention program for employees and staff.

Dr. O’Loughlin is an active member of the Connecticut Chiropractic Council.
