North Branford 2002-2027 Fiscal Year Budget Process Underway, With Residents Set to Weigh-In At Hearings

NORTH BRANFORD, CT — It's that time of the year.

The town's budget process is underway. Residents are encouraged to participate in the process by attending the March 31 public hearing on the North Branford Fiscal Year 2026-2027 budget.

To date, there have been several budget workshops on the spending plan, where department heads present their budgets.

The budget workshop public hearing is set for Tuesday, March 31, from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m., in the North Branford High School Cafeteria.

On April 7 and 14, council budget workshops will be held. At the April 21st Town Council meeting, the budget will be finalized.

On May 12, voters weigh in from noon to 8 p.m. for the Budget Referendum at town polling locations.
