It's a busy week for meetings. On Monday, Sept. 12, the meets at 5 p.m. at the and at 7 p.m., there are three meetings at Town Hall–, and the . The meets on Wednesday, SEpt. 14 at 5 p.m. at the Office of the Town Manager, while the is scheduled to meet on Thursday, Sept. 15 at 7 p.m. at Town Hall.

Are You Ready for Some Football?

North Branford High School football, that is. This week the T-Birds take on Valley. The freshman team kicks off the 2011 football season on Thursday, Sept. 15 with a game at 4 p.m., while the varsity team's opener is Friday, Sept. 16 at Valley at 6:30 p.m. The JV team plays on Saturday, Sept. 17 at 10:30 a.m. at home.

T-Birds' Varsity Season-Opening Games

North Branford's other teams also begin the fall 2011 season this week as cross-country starts at the West Beach Invitational on Tuesday, Sept. 13 at 3:30 p.m. Also on Sept. 13, the girls' soccer team travels to Westbrook for a 3:45 p.m. and the field hockey team heads to Stonington for a 4 p.m. contest. The volleyball team has the first home game for North Branford as it takes on Old Lyme at 5:30 p.m. On Wednesday, Sept. 14, the boys' soccer team plays its season-opener at Westbrook at 3:45 p.m. For full schedules, click here.

On Tuesdays, the  hosts  at 10 a.m. for ages 18 moths to 3 years and a  for ages 3 to 6 from noon to 1:30 p.m.  for birth to 18 months is Wednesdays at 10 a.m. at the . continues on Wednesdays at Smith at 4 p.m. Tots & Tunes is also held on Fridays.
