NORTH BRANFORD, CT — The Town Council voted 6-2 in favor of moving forward with a building a new high school school, according to The New Haven Register. The project is expected to cost a total of $66 million, with state funding covering anticipated to cover $25.5 million.

Construction would begin in late spring of 2021. The project has proved controversial among officials, who say it may not be wise to build in the current uncertain economic climate.
