North Branford Budget Vote Results
Voters cast ballots Tuesday on whether the town should accept the proposed budget.
NORTH BRANFORD, CT — The budget referendum vote didn't meet the level of turnout to trigger any action Tuesday.
Turnout was 8.9 percent with 863 votes cast. Of those 98 accepted the budget, 750 thought it was too high and 15 thought it was too low.
The mill rate required by the budget is 33.51 mills, which is a 1.5 mill increase, according to Zip 06.
