North Branford Could Lose Big Under Malloy's Budget Proposal
Malloy cuts more municipal aid to try and balance state books in advance of the start of the legislative session on Wednesday.

NORTH BRANFORD, CT - The bad news keeps coming for Connecticut municipalities as the state attempts to claw out from under its budget mess.
Under Gov. Dannel P. Malloy's revised, proposed adjustments to the fiscal year 2019 budget previously adopted by the legislature state municipal aid would be cut nearly $100 million - both in the education and non-education side.
For North Branford, it would be a 10 percent cut from the previously approved $8.5 million total - to $7.6 million.
