North Branford Fire Department Is Asking Folks To 'Help Us Out,' By Clearing Snow From Buried Hydrants
Folks with hydrants at/near their property should clear at least three feet around fire hydrants for emergency access.
NORTH BRANFORD, CT —"Please. Help us out! Clear the buried hydrants around town."
The North Branford Fire Department's Facebook plea is concise and to the point. Access to hydrants is vital. Firefighters are busy protecting life and property without having to stop and dig out hydrants.
"Help firefighters save precious time when an emergency strikes," a flyer reads.
