NORTH BRANFORD, CT —"Please. Help us out! Clear the buried hydrants around town."

The North Branford Fire Department's Facebook plea is concise and to the point. Access to hydrants is vital. Firefighters are busy protecting life and property without having to stop and dig out hydrants.
