North Branford Happenings: June 20 to June 24

It’s a busy week in town with meetings and events, though the week will be capped with celebration at the 8th-grade promotion is Thursday, June 23 and the seniors graduate on Friday, June 24.

Government

8th-Grade Promotion

celebrates its 8th-grade class on Thursday, June 23 with a promotion ceremony at 5:30 p.m. Patch will be there to capture the event but be sure to submit photos of your graduates (click to see how)! The celebration continues that evening with a dance.

NBHS Graduation

’s Class of 2011 graduates on Friday, June 24 at 6 p.m. on the football field with good weather and in the gym in case of rain. Be sure to bring your tickets and your camera to get photos of your graduates (and on Patch!). We’ll have profiles of Class President Alyssa Arre, Essayist Maggie Sullivan, Salutatorian Rynne O’Connor and Valedictorian Michael Wray this week–be sure to check them out. All four will give speeches at graduation. Following the ceremony, the graduates will celebrate at at the high school until 6 a.m. on Saturday.

Summer Camps
