North Branford Looking For A Purchasing Assistant/Risk Manager

NORTH BRANFORD, CT — The town is looking for its next Purchasing Assistant/Risk Manager. And depending on qualifications, the pay range of $68,000 to $102,000 a year.

This role is responsible for administering cost-effective purchasing procedures in compliance with Connecticut laws and Town ordinance governing procurement of municipal supplies, services, materials, equipment, and construction projects.

Responsibilities involve advising town departments on purchasing activity, overseeing Request for Proposals, Request for Quotes, the Invitation to Bid process, and awarding and executing all related contracts.

This role is also responsible for managing the Town’s Workers Compensation, Casualty, and Liability Insurances.
