North Branford Man Charged with Stabbing Girlfriend's Ex-Boyfriend

A North Branford man is due in court next week to answer to charges that he stabbed his girlfriend’s ex-boyfriend at a Cheshire apartment in 2014, according to the Meriden Record-Journal.
The Record-Journal reports Keith Eagles, 42, of 340 Twin Lake Road, was recently arrested for the incident and charged with first-degree assault.
Eagles told police that the man had been threatening his girlfriend recently and he stabbed him in self-defense, while the victim told officers he was attacked, according to the Record-Journal.
