North Branford Patch Wants Your Haikus

NB Patch is currently seeking haiku submissions to be displayed daily on our homepage.

Submissions should follow the standard haiku format of three lines. The first line should have five syllables, the second line, seven, and the third line, five.

While weekly themes will be suggested as prompts, there are no requirements as far as content is concerned. Feel free to write about your job, boss, kids, spouse, pets hobbies - anything that gets your creative juices flowing.  

This week's suggested theme: Valentine's Day.
