North Branford Police, Fire Investigate Discovery of Molotov Cocktail: Report
The device was found over the weekend.
NORTH BRANFORD, CT — A homemade molotov cocktail was discovered near homes on Totoket Road in North Branford Saturday night, and local police and fire personnel are investigating, reports WTNH-TV.
The device had been lit and was burning in a bush when it was discovered by an off-duty New Haven Fire Captain.
The captain yanked it out of the bush and threw it into the street where it blew up, but no injuries were reported.
