"Kristen will always hold a special place in my heart. She responded to my house on July 18th, 2020 when we found my dad unresponsive in the bathroom. She was right there with us that whole morning and was our support system as we said our final goodbyes to my dad. 4/22 is my dad's birthday- and I think it’s so special that she saved this person on that day. Almost like my dad was helping her out that day for what she did for us. Thank you, Kristen, for everything you do…"

"This officer is tops in my book. She held my hand 1.5 yrs (ago) when I broke my ankle in different directions and the fire dept wasn’t there yet. (This was) during covid. She was so human and supportive! She helped my 85-year-old mom cope during this awful episode. Congrats on your much deserved award. And if there was award for CT top officer, you would have my vote!"
