North Branford Police Report Increase In Theft From Motor Vehicles

NORTH BRANFORD, CT — Police are warning residents that over the last few months, there has been a "significant increase" in thefts from motor vehicles and stolen motor vehicles.

"We’d like to remind the residents in town to lock their vehicles and remove all valuables (including keys)," police wrote in a Facebook post. "These crimes aren’t specific to the overnight hours either, a majority have been occurring in daylight."
