North Branford Resident Wins Big Lottery Prize

NORTH BRANFORD, CT — A North Branford resident recently won $20,000 on a scratch ticket that was sold in Hamden, according to the Connecticut Lottery.

The resident won $20,000 on a 20X Cash 8th Edition that was sold at Sam’s Food Store at 1671 Whitney Ave. in Hamden, according to Lottery officials.

The CT Lottery has changed its policy on announcing winners by not including the winners’ full names on the list in order to protect them from potential scams, according to officials.
