North Branford Residents Urged to Participate in Health Study

The survey is being conducted by the East Shore District Health Department.

BRANFORD, CT - Residents of Branford, North Branford/Northford and East Haven are being asked to participate in a health study conducted by the East Shore District Health Department.

The Community Health Survey asks questions regarding health status, health needs and health habits through the months of March and April, and is designed to help the department better serve area residents.

It is being conducted at libraries, senior centers and community centers and other venues throughout the community in the three towns, as well as online and at the East Shore District Health Department Office, located at 14 Business Park Drive in Branford.

"This survey will be used by the health department and other local agencies to enhance and create programs and services to improve the health of the community," officials said in a statement. "The results of the community survey and assessment will be released to the public in late May. The health department is hoping the survey results will spark some discussions in the community about health and healthy living."
