North Branford’s Solid/Hazardous Waste & Recycling Committee’s Wall Field Earth Day Event is April 17

NORTH BRANFORD, CT—The North Branford’s Solid/Hazardous Waste & Recycling Committee’s Earth Day event is set for April 17 at 5 p.m. at Wall Field.

The committee's role is to develop and implement environmentally sound solutions and best practices for solid waste disposal and recycling management for the town. It is an advisory committee to the town manager.

"We would like to invite any organizations, businesses, and hobbyists in town that can offer information about protecting our environment, conservation, or recycling to be part of our Earth Day event," the committee wrote on its Facebook page.

The committee will meet on Thursday at 6 p.m. in Town Council Chambers at Town Hall to discuss the Earth Day event, which is also Little League opening day.
