When you choose your Medicare D Plan, which covers prescriptions, you choose a plan that covers the prescriptions you are taking. Those plans can change the drugs they will cover at any time. You can find your self in a situation where your medicine was covered and now it won't be. you may also change plans and find that your prescription is not covered.Medicare drug plans are required to offer you a 30 day transition supply.Plans must supply a 30 day supply within 90 days of plan membership or within 90 days of a new contract. The plans are also required to provide you written notice of the transition supply as well as what your rights are.
