WIC delivery system is changing to the EBT card system

eWIC is the program formerly known as WIC. The system is transitioning to an EBT card system rather than the paper food checks. eWIC is a nutrition program that assist pregnant women, and young children up to their 5th birthday to supplement their nutritional needs with healthy foods.The Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women Infants and Children, better known as the WIC Program, provides healthcare referrals, nutrition education, breastfeeding promotion and support, and supplemental foods.
