The Connecticut Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services if offering a 24 hour toll free number that will provide resources to treatment, services and walk in assessment centers for the treatment of opiod addiction. Residents can call 1-800-563-4086, 24 hours a day to connect them to a walk in assessment center in the area. Once at the assessment center, you will be evaluated for the best course of treatment and services as well as any insurance issues. Trained staff will help you make the connection and problem solve any barriers you may encounter.
