North Branford Teen Suffers Serious Leg Injury in Snowmobile Accident: East Haven Police
BREAKING: Police responded to a snowmobile accident during Thursday's snowstorm.

EAST HAVEN, CT — Police say a North Branford teenage suffered a broken leg in Thursday's snowmobile accident and will face motor vehicle charges for the incident.
The accident occurred Thursday morning around 10 a.m. at the intersection of Gerrish Avenue and Main Street. The operator of the snowmobile was identified as Anthony Rienzo, 17, of North Branford, police said.
The operator of the private plow/truck was identified as Anthony Redente, 67, of East Haven, police said.

"The only update we have regarding Rienzo’s condition is that he underwent surgery for a broken femur," Police Lt. Joseph Murgo said.
Motor vehicle charges for Rienzo are pending and will be issued through an arrest warrant, police said. Redente was not injured during this incident, police said.
