North Branford's Weekend Weather Forecast Includes Chance of Showers, Thunderstorms

We could wish that today’s forecast is what we’d end up with for Saturday. Before we get to the weekend though, we’re looking at a picture perfect weather day on Thursday with sunny skies and temps in the high 60s to 70 degrees.

Friday is even slightly better with sunny skies and temps around 70 degrees.

Saturday probably will be the worst of the two days as showers and thunderstorms are possible early in the morning, and then it will be mostly cloudy for the remainder of the day.

The sun will return on Sunday and with high temperatures approaching the mid 70s.

Here is North Branford’s latest hyperlocal forecast from the National Weather Service:

• Tonight: Mostly clear, with a low around 44. Southwest wind 5 to 7 mph becoming calm in the evening.
• Friday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 72. Calm wind becoming south 5 to 8 mph in the afternoon.
• Friday night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 53. South wind 5 to 8 mph becoming calm after midnight.
• Saturday: A chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly before 1pm. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 75. South wind 5 to 9 mph. Chance of precipitation is 40%.
• Saturday night: A chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly between 7pm and 1am. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 59. Chance of precipitation is 40%.
• Sunday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 74.
