Obituary: Annette Wheeler (nee Petraccione), 58, of North Branford

Annette Wheeler (nee Petraccione), 58 years old, passed away suddenly on Sunday July 30th, 2023 at Yale New Haven Hospital. She was a beloved mother, daughter, sister, and friend. Annette was born on April 25th, 1965, in New Haven, Connecticut. Annette grew up in North Branford and attended North Branford High School. She was a graduate of 1983. She went on to work for Honeywell for many years.

Annette loved to travel, and go camping with her children. She was heavily involved with the boy scouts. Her dream was to have traveled to Hawaii, and she was lucky to have done that with both of her sons. She also enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.

She will be greatly missed by her loving sons, Bryan and Christopher Wheeler of North Branford, Connecticut. Her parents Michael Sr., and Nancy Petraccione. Her siblings Michael Petraccione, Jr. (Adriana) of West Haven, and Joseph Petraccione (Marcia) of East Haven. She also leaves behind her niece, nephews, and her great niece Luna, whom she spent a lot of time with. She also leaves behind her long-time loving partner, Phil of North Haven. She is reunited with her loving grandparents Armando and Carmela Petraccione, and Mildred and Robert Meeker, who predeceased her.

Friends and family may visit Keenan Funeral Home in North Branford, CT on Monday, August 7, 2023 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. followed by a Service at 12 p.m. Burial will be at Beaverdale Memorial Park Cemetery, New Haven.
