Obituary: Bernard A. Corona, 64, of Nevada, formerly North Branford

Bernie was a successful entrepreneur with many interests. His greatest passions were his family, friends and beloved cats.

Bernard A. Corona, 64, of Henderson, NV formerly of North Branford beloved husband of over 20 years to Susan Frohn Corona passed away on March 30, 2023 in Henderson Hospital. Brother of Christine (David) Molta. Brother-in-law of Eric (Becky) Frohn and uncle of Zachary Frohn. He leaves many cousins and godchildren. Bernie was born in New Haven on August 29, 1958 son of the late Alfonse and Carmela Caprio Corona. Bernie graduated from Richard C. Lee High School and from Paier Art Institute (Photography). He grew up in New Haven, moved to North Branford; and in 2014, he and his wife moved to Henderson, NV.

Bernie was a successful entrepreneur with many interests. His greatest passions were his family, friends and beloved cats. He was a quiet man who found great pleasure in making others feel special and made all our lives better with his unassuming ways, wonderful smile and open heart. Bernie always showed great concern for animals and their welfare. Bernie will be sorely missed by all who knew him, and we look forward to when we will see him again.

Family and friends are invited to A Mass of Christian Burial SATURDAY morning June 10, 2023 at St. Pio of Pietrelcina Parish in Our Lady of Pompeii Church at 10:00. Interment will follow in St. Lawrence Cemetery. THERE WILL BE NO CALLING HOURS.
