He especially loved watching and collecting Star Wars memorabilia. He loved photography as well, especially nature photos. He loved coming home from work to his cats Vader (“boy”) and Tootsie (“chubsie”). David always said that other than the restaurant, his greatest accomplishment was his daughter. Everyone who talked to him would know how extremely proud he was of her. David was easy to talk to, a great listener, and made those around him feel comfortable.
He was a very forgiving person, always knew what to say, and an amazing father. David was a kind, gentle, open, and genuine soul. He will be missed by many, near and far.A memorial gathering will be held on Monday January 8 starting at 4 P.M. at his restaurant, David Henry’s, 53 School Ground Road, Branford. Please feel free to bring food, booze, and stories about David to honor his fun and outgoing character. Burial will be private.
