Obituary: David Lawrence Munsill, 77, of Guilford

David Lawrence Munsill "Munk" 77 of Guilford passed away peacefully on September 23, 2017 surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of Jo-Ann Reynolds Munsill. Born in New Haven May 12, 1940 he was the son of the late William and Mary Fitzpatrick Munsill. Besides his wife he is survived by his loving daughter Janine and son in law David Braun, his cherished grandchildren Molly, Mary Kathryn and George, and beloved extended family.

David was a retired electrician from IBEW Local 90 and served on the State of Connecticut Occupational and Professional Licensing Board. He was a member of the Elm City Gun Club, the Santa Maria Magdalena Society, the Arbeiter Maenner Chor of West Haven and the NRA.

Family and friends may visit the Keenan Funeral Home, 330 Notch Hill Road, North Branford, Tuesday evening from 5 to 8pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday Sept. 27, at 11am at St George Church in Guilford. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
