Obituary: Felice A. Basilicato, 89, of Northford

Felice A. Basilicato, 89, of Northford beloved husband of 61 years to Patricia Ann Altieri Basilicato passed away on April 18, 2023 in Yale New Haven Hospital St. Raphael Campus. Loving father of Paula Basilicato of East Haven and Louis Basilicato of Milford. Grandfather of Dylan Longo. Brother of Catherine and Theresa Basilicato both of New Haven, Louise DePoto of East Haven, Michael Basilicato of North Haven and the late Mary Caracciolo and Dominic and Stephen Basilicato. Felice was born in New Haven on October 7, 1933 son of the late Felice and Emanuela D’Agostino Basilicato.

He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. Prior to his retirement, Felice worked as an electrical technician for Picker Corporation and Norden.

His funeral procession will leave the PORTO FUNERAL HOME, 234 Foxon Rd. (Rte. 80), East Haven FRIDAY morning at 10:30. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Pio of Pietrelcina Parish at Our Lady of Pompeii Church at 11:00. Interment will follow in All Saints Cemetery. Family and friends may call FRIDAY morning from 8:30 to 10:30.
