Joseph Milton Marino of Guilford, CT passed away on February 14. Joseph was born in Waterbury, CT on October 15, 1939, son of Emedio and Frances Marino of North Branford. Joe graduated from East Haven High School and Connecticut School of Electronics. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran and served in the U.S. and Europe during the Vietnam Era. He subsequently worked at EDO and Barnes Engineering as an electronics technician. He was a long-time member of the New Haven Sportsman's Club where he was a Vice-President and a major contributor to the growth of that club. He was a voracious reader, a student of history and an avid collector of military memorabilia. Cooking and outdoor sports were other passions. Joe is survived by his daughter, Gina Marino of Florida; his son, Michael Marino of Pennsylvania; his brother, David Marino (Geneanneu) of South Carolina; and his sister, Madelyn Marino of Branford. He is also survived by five grandsons, Nick, Joey, Mathew, Tristan and Michael Marino Jr. Burial and memorial arrangements will be announced at a later date.
