Beloved wife of the late Walter Griffith. She was born in Hamden on August 16, 1918 to the late Albert Solkoske and Catherine (Holland) Griffith.Josephine was an avid Pinochle card player and enjoyed working in her garden, she will be sadly missed. Josephine is survived by her daughter Catherine (Anthony) Grasso of North Branford, three grandchildren Anthony and Richard Grasso and Joanna Salafia, and two great grand-children Alessandro and Milania Salafia. Family and friends may visit the Keenan Funeral Home, 238 Elm St. West Haven Wednesday October 31, from 10 to 11 am with a service at 11 am. Interment will follow at St. Lawrence Cemetery in West Haven.
