Obituary: Katherine M. Moorcroft, 59, Of Northford

NORTHFORD, CT — (From North Haven Funeral Home): Katherine Marie Sicignano Moorcroft, 59, of Northford, passed away peacefully on Wednesday morning, September 20, 2023 at Yale-New Haven Hospital with her family by her side.

Katherine was born in New Haven on November 10th, 1963 and was the daughter of the late Louis J. and Marie Iovanne Sicignano.

Katherine was a graduate of the Connecticut School of Electronics in Branford and Stone Business College in New Haven. She had worked for the Southern New England Telephone Company. Katherine enjoyed cooking, reading her bible but most of all spending time and being together with her two loving sons.

Katherine was a loving, caring, and selfless woman, she will truly be missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Loving mother of Cody Moorcroft and Brian Moorcroft (Madisyn). She was predeceased by her brother Louis J. Sicignano, Jr.

Family and friends are invited to go directly to St. Elizabeth of the Trinity Parish at St. Therese Church, 555 Middletown Avenue, North Haven on Saturday morning, September 30 at 10 a.m. to attend a Mass of Christian burial. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family.
