Obituary: Kninoh “Nino” Mezza, 43, of North Branford

Kninoh “Nino” Mezza, 43, of North Branford died suddenly at home on Tuesday, May 24, 2022. Nino was the beloved son of Dalia Mezza.

Kninoh was formerly employed by Verizon Wireless as a sales representative, where he helped many Verizon customers, they would wait in long lines just to be helped by him. Nino was loved by many people, he was known for his caring personality, there wasn’t anything he wouldn’t do for his mother or any of their many friends. Nino would go out of his way to help anyone. He loved all types of music, even if it was in another language. He was affectionately known as “DJ Bambino” to his friends. Nino loved to travel, especially to Europe, and England. He loved “racing’’ cars, especially his Infinity.

Kninoh was very proud of his Italian heritage, he belonged to The Brothers of Brooklyn, The Italian American Society, and was a pen pal of the Italian American Society, he also communicated with The Lion Field Music Group.

Besides his loving mother and his dog Hurricane, he was survived by many loving friends. He will be missed by so many.

Kninoh was predeceased by his Grandparents “Papa” Fiorentino and “Mama” Elizabeth Mezza, his Uncle Aldo Mezza and Aunt Maria Mezza.

Kninoh’s funeral procession will leave East Haven Memorial Funeral Home 425 Main St East Haven, CT WEDNESDAY June 1, 2022 at 8:30 am, a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9am, at St. Pio of Pietrelcina Parish (St. Vincent DePaul Church) 80 Taylor Ave, East Haven CT. Calling hours will be held at the funeral home TUESDAY May 31, 2022 from 4pm-7pm.
