Obituary: Kristyn O'Connell Cappetta, 42, Of North Branford

NORTH BRANFORD, CT — (From Sisk Brothers Funeral Home): Kristyn O'Connell Cappetta, 42, a resident of North Branford, passed away Monday, January 1st, 2024. Kristyn was born in New Haven on March 14th, 1981.

Kristyn is survived by her husband Luigi Cappetta and her children Donato and Palma Cappetta whom she devoted her life too.

Daughter of the late Robert T. & Margaret K. O'Connell, also predeceased by her son Aniello Cappetta.

Kristyn is survived by her brother Robert T. O'Connell Jr. and sister Margaret M. Williams (Joseph), niece Meg Williams & nephews Joseph and Jack Williams.

Kristyn graduated from Quinnipiac University with a degree in Criminal Justice and a minor in Sociology.

She worked for the State of Connecticut in the Juvenile Corrections Department until her retirement.

Kristyn loved nothing more than her family and went above and beyond for us all. She created memories that we will all cherish forever.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105. Arrangements are with Sisk Brothers Funeral Home, 3105 Whitney Ave., Hamden.
