Obituary: Lorraine M. Petrillo, Formerly Of North Branford

Lorraine M. Petrillo formerly of North Branford, and widow of Jack Petrillo, died on Monday, September 17, 2018 surrounded by family. She was 89. Lorraine was born in Bridgeport, CT on February 10, 1929, to the late Minnie and Edward O’Brien.

She was a parishioner of St. Augustine Church. Before her retirement, Lorraine worked in manufacturing and assembly. A devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, Lorraine enjoyed cooking and “family day” including traditional holidays and casual gatherings.

Lorraine is survived by two sons, John Petrillo and his wife Brenda of East Haven, Dennis Petrillo and his wife Nancy of North Branford, and three daughters, Deborah Flynn and her husband Barry of New Haven, Eileen Kennedy and her husband Brian of North Branford, and Jacqueline Stannard and her husband Charley of Durham. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Family and friends may visit the Keenan Funeral Home, 330 Notch Hill Road, North Branford Friday September 21 from 4 p.m. - 8 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday September 22, at St. Augustine Church at 10 a.m. Burial will follow at All Saints Cemetery in North Haven.
