Louis Sidera III, 59, husband to Darianne (Gregan) Sidera, of Northford CT. entered eternal rest on Sunday, August 26, 2018 at CT Hospice in Branford CT, with the love of his family by his side. Louis was born in New Haven CT on August 1, 1959, to his parents Louis and Marie (Fiore) Sidera Jr.
Louis grew up in his hometown of Northford CT where he made lifelong friendships and left an impact on everyone he met. He went on to serve in the United States Marine Corp right after graduating from North Branford High School. Later, Louis went on to earn his bachelors and doctoral degrees from Albertus Magnus College and Quinnipiac University School of Law Magna Cum Laude. .

Family and friends were Louis’ biggest priority and he found no greater joy than having everyone together. This extended beyond to his workplace and family at UBS. His passions included watching football, yard work, and listening to the Yankees on the radio.
Louis leaves behind his high school sweetheart Darianne Sidera of Northford CT and their three children; Emylee Sidera of East Haven CT, Tessa (Sidera) Sledge (Thomas) of Seattle WA and Louis Sidera IV of Northford CT. His mother Marie Sidera of East Haven CT, sister Terese Sidera (Ted) of East Haven CT and brother Anthony Sidera (Stacey) of Simsbury CT. Louis leaves behind seven nephews and his lifelong best friends David Ford of Norwood MA, John Hardy of Madison CT and Terry McKenna of Morrisville VT. Louis was predeceased by his father Louis F. Sidera Jr.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Louis’ name can be made to the Totoket Historical Society P.O. Box 491, Northford CT 06472 to be put towards the maintenance of The Janet S. Gregan Memorial Clock.
