Mary Ann Dembral Delaney, age 83, of North Branford, CT passed away quietly on Tuesday December 13, 2022. She was born August 25, 1939 in Taylor, PA. Daughter of the late Stanley and Frances Remplevitch Dembral. She spent her younger childhood years growing up in Pennsylvania before moving to Bridgeport, CT where she later met the love of her life, Henry W. Delaney, Jr., whom she fondly called Skip. Together they made a home in Milford where they raised their children; later moving to North Branford, as well as West Palm Beach Florida. Mary Ann is survived by her husband of 63 years Henry W. Delaney Jr.; her children Mary Ann Hultgren (David) of East Haven, Valerie Delaney also of East Haven, Cherie Brown (Chris Larsen) of Canton, and Henry W. Delaney, III (Keri) of Boynton Beach, FL; Her Grandchildren Ashley Dennis(Andrew), Brittney Borrelli (Daniel), Victoria Dang (Phong), Delaney & Madeline Brown, and Keira Delaney; Her great-grandchildren Emmalyn and Lilah Dennis, and Phoebe Borrelli; as well as many extended family members. Mary Ann was preceded in death by her beloved mother Frances, her uncles Carl and Joseph Remplevitch, her aunt Thelma "Phoebe" Kulas, and countless other loved ones.

Everyone who knew Mary Ann knew her love of her family and the holidays, especially Christmas. She would love to decorate the house from top to bottom and relish in the joy of being together. She loved to listen to live music and dance with her husband Skip, from the classics to big band or polka music; even through her last weeks of good health. She and her husband are "regulars" at Maritime Grille in Guilford, where everyone knows their name and saves them their favorite seats. When not spending time with her husband or family, you could find her enjoying arts & crafts and doing word searches.
