Obituary: Mary E. Paul, 99, of North Branford

Mary E. Paul, 99, passed away at Connecticut Hospice in Branford, CT on July 5, 2023. She was born on April 22, 1924 in Lisbon, Maine to the late Henry and Katherine Grondin.

Mary was a seamstress, and cleaned houses until she was 75. She loved traveling, playing cards, and was an avid reader. Most of all, Mary loved her family and enjoyed cooking meals for them.

Mary is predeceased by her loving husband Louis Paul, Sr., her parents Henry Grondin and Katherine (Chaney) Grondin, her sister Isabell, and her brothers Robert, John, and Clarence.
Mary is survived by her sons Robert Paul of North Branford, CT, Wayne Paul of North Branford, CT, James Paul of Maine, Louis Paul, Jr., of New York, and Joseph Paul of Westbrook, CT; daughter Irene Hathaway of New Hampshire, and her sister Evelyn Hubley of South Carolina.

Mary is also survived by seven grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren. She will be deeply missed.
