Mary Salzano Battista, 97, of Northford passed away peacefully on Friday, August 12th, 2022 at Yale-New Haven Hospital. She was the beloved wife of the late Carl Battista. Mary was born in New Haven on December 14, 1924 and was the daughter of the late Vincenzo and Addolorata Varone Salzano.

Mary enjoyed doing puzzles, was a ceramic instructor at the former Three of Us Ceramics of Northford, enjoyed collecting dolls, and was an animal lover especially birds and cats.

Loving mother of Anthony Battista and his wife Lynn, and Carl Battista, Jr. Step grandmother of Adrian Rodriguez, David Young and the late Alyssa Young. Predeceased by her sisters Rosalie Teta and Fannie Zurolo.

Her services have concluded.
