Obituary: Matthew James Sciuto, 46, Of North Branford

Matthew, who worked as a truck driver for many years, was best known for his kindness, generosity, and sense of humor.

NORTH BRANFORD, CT — (From North Haven Funeral Home): Matthew James Sciuto, 46, of North Branford, passed away on Monday, February 27, 2023. He was the beloved husband of Keri Brewer Sciuto for 12 years and loving father of Abbey and Brooke Sciuto.

Matthew was born in Milford on December 13, 1976, and was the son of Joseph and Marianne Dunn Sciuto Jr.

Matthew had worked as a truck driver for many years, loved music, attending concerts and comedy shows with his wife, traveling with his family and was best known for his kindness, generosity, and sense of humor. His greatest joy in life was being with his daughters, who meant the world to him.

Brother of Joseph (Monica) Sciuto III. Son-in-law of Donald and Lynne Brewer. Brother-in-law of Kristin and Bill DeCapua. Special uncle of Olivia and Kevin DeCapua, and Anna Sciuto. Also survived by many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and his best four-legged friend Daisy.

The visiting hours will be on Monday, March 6 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the Havens Family, North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue. A funeral service will be conducted in the funeral home on Tuesday morning, March 7 at 10 a.m. Interment will follow in Northford Cemetery.
