He taught all of us the real meaning of family through passing down his wisdom, carrying out endless acts of kindness, and through his constant, loving affirmations. Most of all, he taught us the meaning of unconditional love. His last years were a testament to the loving man he was, as he personified his vow to love until ‘death do us part.’ He continued to care for his wife of 65 years who struggled and finally succumbed to Alzheimer’s in August of this year.

The family would also like to thank Mike's 2nd son, Skip Knight and his 3rd daughter Peggy Calamita, for their support and devotion to dad over the years.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Ambrose/St. Augustine Church at 12:00 PM. Interment with military honors will follow in East Lawn Cemetery.
