Michael was born in New Haven on July 3, 1939 son of the late Michael F. and Carmela Nappi Papero Sr. Arrangements in care of the PORTO FUNERAL HOME, 234 Foxon Rd. (Rte. 80), East Haven. THERE WILL BE NO CALLING HOURS. Interment will be private. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society at www.cancer.org.

Ten years ago, on May 12th, Cafe Fiore's Valon Avdimetaj and Rusty Cecunjanin celebrated the restaurant's grand opening with a ribbon cutting ceremony presided over by Chamber of Commerce President Tony Rescigno and Branford First Selectman Jamie Cosgrove.
Since opening in 2016, Cafe Fiore has maintained a sophisticated, yet relaxed ambience, providing the perfect setting for savoring the kitchen's delectable dishes as well as enjoying your favorite wines and cocktails. Not resting on any laurels, the team continually applied refinements, implementing numerous ways to enhance its patrons' dining experience. Consequently, the restaurant has become a Branford favorite.
