In 2018, the 14-acre site was bought by Northford natives Bozzuto and his brothers, owners of several local businesses including John’s Refuse, BRS Carting and 3B Ranch, a fully operational cattle ranch and organic farm, according to the website.

The brothers did an "extensive renovation of the Millpond restaurant property, including an addition of over 10,000 square feet housing a steakhouse restaurant, a tavern, a new 200-person venue hall and retail marketplace.

In February, Millpond Steakhouse opened as, "quite literally, 'The Table at the Farm.'" Its menu features farm fresh produce from area farmers, seafood from local dayboat fisherman and dry-aged beef from its cattle ranch up the road.
