Passerby Helps Those in Overturned Car on Route 80

Around 12:30, a passerby stopped to help those in an overturned vehicle on Route 80 in North Branford.

 

A North Branford Patch reader sent in this photo after seeing this accident on Route 80 between Commerce Drive and Cedar Lake Road around 12:30 p.m.

David Sargent said he saw the car flipped on its side with two occupants inside. Both occupants were pulled from the car through the passengers side window.

"Both seemed to be okay," said Sargent, who helped the driver exit the vehicle.
