Procession For Police Sgt. Chris Manner Set For Thursday
Manner was a longtime North Branford police officer who after his retirement took a job with Branford police. He died at age 56 on Sept. 19.

NORTH BRANFORD, CT — Thursday the community will line the streets to honor police Sgt. Christopher Manner.

"On Thursday 9/24/2020 we invite the entire community to line the streets in honor of Sergeant Christopher Manner. Sergeant Manner dedicated his life to serving the North Branford Community.
There will be a funeral procession led by Branford Pd and North Branford PD for Sergeant Manner starting 1100 at W.S. Clancy Funeral Home in Branford. The funeral procession will proceed past Branford PD, continue to Cedar street and then onto Brushy Plains Road. The procession will continue onto Totoket Road as it enters into the Town of North Branford. The procession will then turn onto Foxon Road and continue to Forest Road where it will proceed past NBPD. It is estimated the procession will pass NBPD between 1115 am and 1130 am.

All are welcome to line the streets and join us, as we show our support for the Sergeant Manner and his family. American flags and Thin blue line flags are encouraged.
Parking is available at Totoket Park next to DPW and at the football parking lot behind NBPD. Please share so others may see this post."
