Report: State Police Looking for Car in Connection with Threat Against President
Law enforcement authorities are looking for a 2014 silver Volkswagen Jetta driven by a man thought to have made a threat against Obama.

State police from the Bridgeport and Bethany barracks along with the U.S. Secret Service were on the lookout Friday night for a silver 2014 Volkswagen Jetta thought to be driven by a man who made threats against President Obama, according to the Hartford Courant.
The Secret Service confirmed they were looking for a ”potentially suspicious person and vehicle,” according to the Courant report Friday night.
Obama was scheduled to be at a Democratic Party fundraising event Friday evening at a private home in Rhode Island, according to the newspaper.

The car has Connecticut license plates, according to an NBC Connecticut report, which also said Obama was scheduled to land in Air Force One at Westchester County Airport Friday afternoon, head into New York City for fundraisers, then fly to T.F. Green Airport in Warwick, RI for the fundraising event in the evening.
