Here we go T-Birds, here we go! The North Branford Thunderbird cheerleaders are ready to start the 2013/2014 season, and in fact have been pretty active since the last season ended in late March. You may have seen some of the squad walking for Matt’s Mission, and they have been busy with youth cheer practices, captain’s practices and NECA cheer camp. They will be parking cars at the North Branford Potato and Corn Festival on Friday August 2ec, and working the hamburger booth throughout the festival. Stop by and say hi!
Fundraisers for August will be a Cheer Clinic on August 10th at North Farms Park from 9am to 1pm with the squad teaching participants cheers, sidelines and dance moves learned at camp. The squad is also sponsoring a carwash on August 17th at Company #4 Fire Department in Northford Center from 9am to 1pm (rain date August 24th).
Led by senior captains Jessica Raucci and Joanna Despotakis and junior captains Olyvia Gleason and Carly Mastriano, the squad is ready to support football, basketball and all things cheer!
