Shoreline Adult Ed and Jim Powers to Host Lecture This Week

"The Siege and Battles at Saybrook Fort during the Pequot War, 1636-37" will be held at The Dudley Farm Museum

(NORTH BRANFORD, CT) - Local historian, author, and retired Guilford High School teacher, Jim powers, will lead a lecture this Wednesday, October 20 at 7:00 PM. As part of Shoreline Adult Education's lecture series, "The Siege and Battles at Saybrook Fort during the Pequot War, 1636-37" explores the seven month siege of a small English garrison in their hurriedly built fort on Saybrook Point during the Pequot War.
